Francis Sirard is president and founder of Examine Construction Consultants. He is a professional engineer with more than 18 years of experience in the construction industry. He has held a breadth of positions in the fields of project management, project planning, and cost control.
Francis’ expertise includes delay, loss of productivity, and change impact analysis as well as quantification of additional costs and damages on construction projects.
Prior to founding Examine in 2014, Francis was a manager in Deloitte’s Capital Projects division, following the firm’s acquisition of Tardif Murray and Associates (TMA) where he had held the position of senior consultant. In both positions, he wrote, prepared, and reviewed expert reports and construction claims.
Francis has acted as project manager for several general contractors and worked for owners on projects across Canada and the United States.
Francis earned his EMBA in a joint program from the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM) and Paris-Dauphine University in France. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering from the École de Technologie Supérieure (ETS).
Francis is a member of several affiliations including the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ), the Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering International (AACEI), the Institut de médiation et d’arbitrage du Québec (IMAQ), the ADR Institute of Canada (ADRIC) and the MBA Association of Québec.
